“2020, the year that will overwhelm the pages of history books, taught me to live in the present. How so? The present defines our future. Thus, for an existing future, a healthy present is needed from all points of view.
I learned to live in the ‘moment.’ Every day to have an activity that brings me joy, to have creativity in everything around me, and, most importantly, to be one with nature.
These uncertain times demonstrate how fragile the human species is. We desire to have everything and for everything to be ours, but we do not think about the consequences.”
In the industry in which I operate, namely the fashion world, 150 billion garments are produced annually for seven billion people. Two billion of them use a piece of cloth as clothing, while another two billion buy only one T-shirt per year. Therefore, 150 billion clothes are produced for just three billion people. It’s a completely different perspective on exaggeration. A world of over-consumerism is one with a precarious existence. This year, I confirmed my desire for a responsible life.
